Welcome to SkillnGig. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SkillnGig's website, services, and applications (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SkillnGig regarding your use of the Services. Please read them carefully.
2. Definitions
- "SkillnGig" refers to SkillnGig Inc., our website, applications, and services.
- "User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses our Services, whether as a Freelancer or Client.
- "Freelancer" refers to a User who offers services, skills, or expertise through our platform.
- "Client" refers to a User who seeks services or engages Freelancers through our platform.
- "Content" refers to any information, text, graphics, photos, or other materials uploaded, downloaded, or displayed on our platform.
- "Project" refers to a specific task, job, or service arrangement between a Client and a Freelancer.
3. Account Terms
To use our Services, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our Services. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.
SkillnGig reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided during the registration process or thereafter proves to be inaccurate, not current, or incomplete.
4. Services
SkillnGig provides a platform that connects Freelancers offering their skills and expertise with Clients seeking such services. We also facilitate skill exchanges between users.
SkillnGig does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any services offered by Freelancers, nor the ability of Freelancers to deliver such services or of Clients to pay for them.
While we may provide tools for escrow payments, contract creation, and dispute resolution, SkillnGig is not a party to any agreements between Freelancers and Clients, nor do we guarantee that a Client or Freelancer will complete a transaction or fulfill their obligations.
5. Payments
SkillnGig charges service fees for the use of our platform. These fees are specified on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.
For Freelancers, payment for services will be processed through our platform, and we will deduct our service fee before releasing payment to your account.
For Clients, you agree to pay for services provided by Freelancers through our payment system. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all services you purchase.
6. User Content
Users may post content, including text, images, and other materials, to their profiles and in connection with projects.
You are solely responsible for any content you post on SkillnGig. By posting content, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to such content and that it does not violate these Terms or any applicable laws.
SkillnGig reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.
By using SkillnGig's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
